CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />For Council Meeting of August 3. 1993 <br />TO: Mayor and Councilmembers <br />FROM: Councilwoman Betty Cook'' <br />SUBJECT: Request City Manager Jerry Young to Acquire Date: <br />Information for a City Owned MRF (Material Recovery Facility) <br />I am proposing that the Mayor and Council instruct City Manager <br />Jerry Young to acquire information for the purpose of a City owned <br />MRF (Material Recovery Facility) operation which will produce <br />revenue for the city, much needed employment and will ensure that <br />Colton meets the mandated goals of AB 939. <br />This is a wave of the future that needs to be addressed by the <br />City Council. <br />BC:mer <br />
