Ramos, City Clerk <br />SUBJECT: Community Development Director's Expense Date: 6/10/93 <br />Report for Demolition at 801 North Rancho <br />1023 North Mt. Vernon and 945 Fernando <br />Background• <br />The Community Development Director has, upon due notice and process, <br />caused to be demolished certain structures at 801 North Rancho, 1023 <br />North Mt. Vernon and 9455 Fernando. <br />Discussion: <br />Chapter 9, Section 902 of the Uniform Code for the Abatement of <br />Dangerous Buildings, provides for recovery of costs expended by the <br />City for demolition proposes. The attached Expense Report of the <br />Community Development Director outlines the costs for each <br />demolition. The Code requires that the report be set for public <br />hearing to hear any protests or objections. Following the close of <br />the public hearing, the City Council shall approve the method of <br />recovery of expenses. <br />Fiscal Impact• <br />None. A resolution for recovery of costs from the property owners <br />will be presented to the City Council at the close of the July 6, <br />1993 public hearing. <br />Recommendation: <br />Staff recommends the Director's Demolition Expense Report beset for <br />Public Hearing on July 6, 1993. <br />Concurrence: <br />City Manager <br />Attachments: <br />Page 1 of Item No.� <br />
