AGENDA REPORT <br />For the Council Meeting of July 16, 1996 <br />TO: HONORABLE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL <br />APPROVAL: NABAR ENRIQUE MARTINEZ, CITY MANAGER <br />FROM: TOM CLARKE, INTERIM WATER & WASTEWATER DIRE <br />SUBJECT: ACCEPTANCE OF THE DOMECQ ELEVATED TANK REPAIRS AS <br />100% COMPLETE, AND AUTHORIZE THE INTERIM WATER AND <br />WASTEWATER DIRECTOR TO FILE THE NOTICE OF COMPLETION <br />DATE: JULY 8, 1996 <br />BACKGROUND: <br />At the December 19, 1995 Council meeting, Council awarded a contract to West Coast <br />Industrial, Inc, for repairs and tank recoating to the Domecq Elevated Tank. <br />DISCUSS ION/ANALYSIS: <br />All work has been completed, as per the bid specifications and State Department of <br />Health Services requirements. The contractor has requested final acceptance of the <br />project, and filing of the notice of completion. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />None, the funds for the project have already <br />encumbered in FY95-96. <br />-11-:2 a2o� <br />Torri Clarke, Interim Water & Wastewater Director <br />been approved by Council and <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends that Council accept the Domecq Elevated Tank repairs as 100% <br />complete and authorize the Interim Water and Wastewater Director to file the notice of <br />completion. <br />Report Prepared By: Lorraine June <br />Item No. 14 <br />
