Freeman, City Manager <br />From: Randy Anstine, Neighborhood Services Director <br />Subject: Ratification of Employee Appointment to the Part -Time <br />Position of Facility Monitor in the Neighborhood Services <br />Department <br />Date: April 2, 1997 <br />BACKGROUND: <br />There presently exists three (3) vacant part-time facility monitor positions in the <br />Neighborhood Services Department. Attached is the job description for the classification; <br />the salary range is $5.50 per hour. <br />DISCUSSION/ANALYSIS: <br />Recruitment for said position was conducted. Oral examinations were held and an <br />eligibility list established. The candidates being referred for Council ratification meet the <br />education and experience requirements as specified in the job description. <br />FUNDING AVAILABILITY: <br />This is a general fund position(s). The position(s) is funded for the 1996-97fiscal year <br />:a:s,follo Ac t N - 2Q0- 2-1010 <br />Randy Anse, irector <br />MISSION CRITICAL: These positions are required to ensure proper supervision of the <br />three community centers. These individuals meet and greet the public, answer <br />questions, enforce facility rules and regulations and respond to emergencies. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT: <br />None <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />That the City Council ratify the employee appointment(s) to the part-time position(s) of <br />Facility Monitor as recommended by the Neighborhood Services Director. <br />Attachment: Job Descriptions <br />Page 1 of 1 Item NO. 9 <br />
