Hutton, Public Works Director <br />SUBJECT: A Resolution of the City Council of the City Of Colton Amending Resolution <br />No. 2119 Passed And Adopted By The City Council Of The City Of Colton On The <br />Sixth Day Of December, 1960 To Include Additional No Parking Areas <br />June 23, 1997 <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Resolution No. 2119 lists areas subject to traffic controls. <br />DISCUSSION• <br />The businesses located along Key Street are comprised of commercial and industrial uses. This type of use <br />normally utilizes truck traffic. Key Street is 36 feet wide. When vehicles are parked along both the north <br />and south sides of the street the roadway is restricted to the point that it is impossible to pass a truck in <br />each direction. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />None. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IWACT• <br />None. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends that Council adopt the attached Resolution, restricting parking along the north side of <br />Key Street to allow a safer access into this area. <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />Attachments: <br />Resolution <br />Item No. 13 <br />
