CLARKE, UTILITY DIRECTOR <br />SUBJECT: APPROVAL OF EMERGENCY REPAIR TO WELL NO. 13 IN THE <br />AMOUNT OF $24,200 FROM TRI -COUNTY <br />DATE: FEBRUARY 5, 1.997 <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Currently, Well No. 13 has been out -of -service for approximately two months, in order to <br />determine what repairs are needed.. With the spring and summer months approaching <br />fast, the Well must be repaired now in order to provide adequate water to the City's <br />customers. <br />DISCUSSION/ANALYSIS: <br />There was a need to immediately repair Well No. 13 in order to assure adequate water <br />to the City's customers. The City Manager and the Finance Director authorized a <br />purchase order for the repairs. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />The FY96-97 Water Operations and Maintenance Budget includes funds for the repairs <br />to the Wells, Reservoirs and Booster Stations. Sufficient funds are available in the <br />Water Misc.
