This is a formal request to <br />have our OMNITRANS representative take forth a plan to the OMNITRANS Board seeking <br />dion measures to accommodate senior citizens. Such a plan should include <br />alternative transporta <br />measurable benefits to our senior citizens. Innovative ideas brought forth consist of having a <br />door-to-door shuttle which services local medical, entertainment and shopping establishments. <br />Other ideas included shuttle service to bus stops in the vicinity. Such services would be <br />routinely available or perhaps by having a Shuttle Hotline whereby senior citizens could call-in <br />requesting shuttle service for unexpected trips. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />This is a formal request to have our OMNITRANS representative take forth a plan to the <br />OMNITRANS Board seeking alternative transportation measures to accommodate senior <br />citizens.
