CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />FOR COUNCIL MEETING OF August 4,1998 <br />TO: Honorable Mayor & City Council <br />APPROVAL: Henry Garcia, City Manag <br />FROM: Dennis Morris, Human Res /eeDirector) R <br />SUBJECT: Request approval for use of Fleming Park by Colton First Baptist Church for <br />September 6,1998. <br />DATE: July 27, 1998 <br />BACKGROUND: On September 6, 1998 Colton First Baptist Church will combine (4) four Church <br />Services, give it a Western Theme and includes games, Horse Covered Wagon rides, food, and a Castle <br />Bounce after the Service. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: The City has absorbed the cost in past history, there is a potential expense in that <br />the park will need more maintenance on Monday when the Public Works Department cleans the grounds. <br />The electricity will be used minimally for a sound system which has been absorbed in the past as well. <br />CUSTOMER SERVICE IMPACT: To continue support of the community activities and meet the needs <br />of the citizens. <br />RECOMMENDATION: That City Council approves the request for the use of Fleming Park by the <br />Colton First Baptist church for September 6, 1998. <br />Attachment: Facility Use Request <br />Prepared by: Vicki Porter <br />Item # 11 <br />n,.anvnnOo rTc V D -A, <br />
