CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />For City Council Meeting of December 1, 1998 <br />TO: Honorable Mayor & City Co ncil <br />APPROVAL: Henry Garcia, City Manag <br />FROM: Dennis Morris, Human Resource Directo . 4 <br />SUBJECT: Revision of the Memorandums of Understanding (MOU) And Adopt The <br />Resolutions Between the City of Colton and Police Rank & File Unit. <br />DATE: November 23, 1998 <br />BACKGROUND: At the October 20, 1998 City Council Meeting, the Council adopted the <br />Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Police Rank & File Unit. There is a need to <br />make one minor revision to the adopted MOU. <br />DISCUSSION/ANALYSIS: After the City Council adopted the Memorandum of Understanding <br />with the Police Rank & File Unit, the following change needs to be made: <br />1. Increase the compensation for call back pay by (1) one hour and subject to the provision in <br />the attached MOU. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: This change will have a minimal financial impact. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends that City Council approve and adopt the attached <br />MOU and Resolutions with the Police Rank & File Unit; making a minor change to the MOU. <br />Prepared By: Vicki Porter <br />Attachment: Exhibit A (Police Rank & File) <br />Resolutions (1) <br />11/23/98 Item No. 10 <br />agd120198 Police R&F <br />
