" <br />SECTION 2_ The cap specified in Section 1 of this ordinance shall apply to taxes <br />initially due as of January 1, 1999, based on the calendar year 1998. <br />SECTION 3: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this Ordinance and cause <br />the same or a summary thereof to be published within fifteen (15) days after adoption in a newspaper <br />of general circulation, printed and published in Colton, California.. <br />PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED, this day of , 1998. <br />KARL E.
