CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />FOR COUNCIL MEETING OF JUNE 169 1998 <br />TO: Honorable Mayor & City C .1 <br />APPROVAL: Henry Garcia, City Manage <br />FROM: Dennis Morris, Human Resource Director <br />SUBJECT: Claims Against the City Submitted by Donald & Lynne Bradley, Jerry & <br />Janice Bailey, Gary Gossich, Kristal Howard, Alfred Parker, Percy & <br />Angela Green, and Diana Holden. - Recommend Denial <br />DATE: June 3, 1998 <br />BACKGROUND: <br />In accordance with the procedures adopted to insure proper and efficient handling of Liability <br />Claims against the City of Colton, the attached reports have been received from the City's Liability <br />Claims Administrator. <br />DISCUSSIONIANALYSIS: <br />Claimants have filed a claim against the City. Evaluation of these claims reflect that these cases <br />would be highly questionable or no liability on the part of the City of Colton. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />Not applicable. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends that the above -listed claims be denied to commence the Statute of Limitations. <br />DM:vlp <br />Item # 14 <br />
