Hutton, Public Works Director <br />SUBJECT Adopting Resolution Restricting Parking of Vehicles Along <br />the north side of Cahuilla Drive. <br />DATE: June 10, 1998 <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The residents of the apartment complex on the north side of Cahuilla Drive, east of <br />Mohave Drive, have complained about the safety of the exit from that complex. <br />DISCUSSION: <br />This issue was discussed by the Traffic Safety Committee. The Committee <br />recommended restricting parking along this portion of the north side Cahuilla Drive will <br />allow the residents to safely exit this driveway. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />None. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends that Council adopt the attached resolution authorizing the restriction <br />of parking along the north side of Cahuilla Drive. <br />JCH/BB/bjw <br />Attachments: Resolution <br />Page _ of ,__ <br />Item # 21 <br />
