VEGA, FINANCE DIR OR <br />SUBJECT: MID -YEAR BUDGET REVIEW AND APPROVING RESOLUTION AMENDING <br />THE FISCAL YEAR 1997-98 BUDGET <br />DATE: FEBRUARY 25, 1998 <br />BACKGROUND <br />Each year staff presents a report to the City Council that reflects the status of budgeted revenues <br />and budgeted expenditures at the midpoint (December) of the fiscal year. Additionally, the report <br />makes recommendations to increase or decrease the budgeted revenues and/or expenditures for <br />those activities in need of such adjustments. <br />DISCUSSION/ANALYSIS: <br />The City of Colton 1997/98 Mid -Year Budget Report consists of the following components. The <br />Budget Message, Departmental Summaries, General Fund Changes and Resolution. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends that the City Council approve the Resolution amending the Fiscal Year 1997/98 <br />General Fund budget for the City of Colton. <br />ITEM #17 <br />
