The race uses
a "rolling enclosure" which is contained by 15 California Highway Patrol motorcycle units.
The bicycle racers are usually in a pack as they go through Colton and there is very minimal
disruption to traffic. The race is scheduled for Friday, March 5, 1999. The letter, along with
the proposed route of travel was forwarded to the Traffic Committee for review.
