CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />Council Meeting of January 19, 1999 <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and Council Members <br />APPROVAL: Henry T. Garcia, City Manager <br />FROM: Daryl J. Parrish, Assistant City ManagerT <br />SUBJECT: Resolution Authorizing the Placement of Stop Signs on Cameron <br />Street at the Intersection of Cameron and Duron Streets <br />DATE: January 5, 1999 <br />BACKGROUND: <br />On December 15, 1999, the City Council approved the placement of stop signs on <br />Cameron Street approaching Duron Street from the north and south. <br />DISCUSSION/ANALYSIS: <br />The City Council approved the placement of the stop signs on December 15, 1998, <br />however an amendment to Resolution No. 2119 passed in 1960 was not included with <br />the report. Attached to this report is the resolution amending Resolution No. 2119 that <br />adds the location specified above identifying it as a "stop intersection. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT: <br />This action will have no impact on the environment. <br />FISCAL IMPACT: <br />There will be nominal costs associated with the placement of the stop sign at the <br />specified location. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends approval of the attached resolution amending Resolution No. 2119 <br />passed and adopted on December 6, 1960. <br />Item # 10 <br />
