CLARKE, UTILITY DIRECTOR <br />�j'o. <br />SUBJECT: APPROVE ACCEPTANCE OF THE RE -ROOFING OF THE BLOWER AND <br />CHLORINE BUILDINGS AT THE WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT AS <br />100% COMPLETE AND AUTHORIZE THE FILING OF THE NOTICE OF <br />COMPLETION <br />DATE: FEBRUARY 16, 2000 <br />BACKGROUND <br />At the December 7, 1999 Council Meeting, the City Council awarded the contract for the re -roofing of <br />the blower and chlorine buildings at the Wastewater Treatment Plant to Huffman Roof Company in the <br />amount of $34,621. The re -roofing work is now complete. <br />DISCUSSION/ANALYSIS <br />All re -roofing work has been finished and the project has been signed off as complete. The contractor <br />has requested final acceptance of the project, and the filing of the Notice of Completion. <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />None <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT <br />Funds for this project were budgeted and have previously been encumbered in Account Number <br />522-8200-8204-3890. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br />None <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends that Council accept the re -roofing of the blower and chlorine buildings at the <br />Wastewater Treatment Plant as 100% complete, and authorize the filing of the Notice of Completion. <br />Report prepared by Rebecca Gallegos, Purchasing Assistant <br />Attachment: (1) Notice of Completion <br />Page 1 of 1 (w/attachment) <br />Item #18 <br />
