Clarke, Electric Utility Director--C*— <br />SUBJECT: Approve Acceptance of the City Hall HVAC System Renovation, <br />Phase I, as 100% Complete and Authorize the Filing of the <br />Notice Of Completion <br />DATE: July 8, 2002 <br />BACKGROUND <br />City Council awarded a contract to Arrowhead Mechanical, Inc. for the renovation of the HVAC <br />system at City Hall on July 18, 2000. The HVAC system renovation has been completed and <br />the system checked and balanced. <br />DISCUSSION/ ANALYSIS <br />All renovation work for Phase I has been completed and the contractor has requested final <br />acceptance of the project, filing of the Notice of Completion, and release of retention. City staff <br />and the consulting engineer have signed the project as complete. <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />None <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT <br />Funds for this project were budgeted and have been previously encumbered in Account Number <br />520-8000-8037-3890-0107. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br />None <br />Staff recommends that City Council accept the City Hall HVAC Renovation Project, Phase I, as <br />100% complete and authorize the filing of the Notice of Completion. <br />Report prepared by Rebecca Gallegos, Buyer <br />REVIEW <br />Attorney: <br />Manager: <br />Finance Director: <br />[8114111171 <br />
