Barrera, City Clerk <br />SUBJECT: Possible Conflict of Interest Issues for the City of Colton Council <br />Meeting of June 4, 2002 <br />DATE: May 30, 2002 <br />6AL,KUKUUMU: <br />In addition to other provisions of law that prohibit City Council members from having <br />financial interest in City contracts, the City Council has adopted Ordinance No. 0-16-01, <br />which requires City Councilmembers to disclose, during open session, any gifts <br />aggregating $50.00 or more that he or she has received or been promised from a party <br />or participant in any proceeding before the City Council involving a license, permit, <br />contract or other entitlement.
