Item #17 <br />CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />FOR COUNCIL MEETING OF July 1, 2003 <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />FROM: Ron Kenny — Director of Community Services <br />SUBJECT: Reservation Request for Fleming Park — EARP Society <br />DATE: June 18, 2003 <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The EARP Society has submitted a facility reservation request for the use of Fleming Park <br />on Saturday, July 26, 2003. Their listed intention for use is to present an "Old West Days" <br />Gala Fundraiser. The group has coordinated this event, and submitted their facility <br />application, through Projects Manager Tammye Dunn, in the City Manager's Office. A <br />copy of their facility use application has been provided. <br />DISCUSSION/ANALYSIS: <br />Fleming Park presents a high-profile, centralized location to reach the community as a <br />whole, and the event has the potential to positively impact the community.
