Personnel <br />Recreation/Facility Coordinator <br />59 <br />Moved by Councilwoman Garcia, seconded by Councilman Hayes, to set for public hear- <br />ing on Tuesday, May 26, 1981, at 5:30 p. m., the position of Facility Coordinator. <br />Unanimous vote. <br />City Council <br />Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilman Hayes, to have Informal Dress <br />during the Summer Sessions. Unanimous vote. <br />ADJOURNMENT: <br />Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilwoman Garcia and unanimously passed, <br />Mayor Gonzales adjourned the meeting at 10:55 p. m., to meet for an Adjourned Regu- <br />lar Meeting on Tuesday, May 26, 1981, at 5:30 p. m., in the Council Chambers. <br />HELEN A. RAMOS, CMC <br />City Clerk <br />City of Colton <br />Approved this 2nd day of June, 1981. <br />Q ADJOURNED COUNCIL MEETING <br />MAY 26, 1981 <br />In accordance with notice duly and legally given, an Adjourned Regular Meeting of <br />the City Council of the City of Colton was held on the above given date at 5:30 <br />p. m., in the Council Chambers of City Hall, Mayor Gonzales presiding. <br />17iIItefim <br />Council Members present were Hayes, Cisneros, Garcia, and Mayor Gonzales. Also <br />present were City Manager Trevino, City Attorney Edwards, and City Clerk Ramos. <br />Absent was Councilman Rehrer who was on vacation. <br />Assessments <br />Assessment District No. 79-1 <br />City Manager Trevino advised that all of the necessary material and legal documents <br />have not as yet been received with regard to Assessment District No. 79-1 and there- <br />fore Staff cannot proceed this evening. Mr. Trevino said the developers will ad- <br />vise when everything is ready to go on this project, and this matter will be brought <br />back to the City Council for consideration and approval. <br />Library <br />Mr. Trevino reported as the City Council is aware, Staff has been working very dili- <br />gently on the proposed new Library for the City. Mr. Trevino said that Requests for <br />Proposals have been prepared and will be submitted, inviting contractors to submit <br />their proposals for constructing a library for the City. <br />Mr. Trevino stated that he and John Brown, of Best, Best & Krieger, have been work- <br />ing on a contractual arrangement, or agreement, and Staff is now requesting authori- <br />zation to prepare an Agreement to be brought back to the City Council at the earli- <br />est possible date, with a complete package of building and funding. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Garcia, seconded by Councilman Hayes, approving and authorizing <br />Staff to prepare Agreement and necessary data for proposed new Library for the City, <br />to be presented to the City Council for final consideration and approval. Vote was <br />unanimous. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS: <br />Personnel <br />Mayor Gonzales declared the Public Hearing open. <br />Personnel Officer Trevino stated that the Notice of Posting had been duly posted, <br />and that no protests or objections had been received. <br />MAY 2 6 1981 <br />
