Unanimous vote. City Council Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilman Hayes, to have Informal Dress during the Summer Sessions. Unanimous vote. ADJOURNMENT: Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilwoman Garcia and unanimously passed, Mayor Gonzales adjourned the meeting at 10:55 p. m., to meet for an Adjourned Regu- lar Meeting on Tuesday, May 26, 1981, at 5:30 p. m., in the Council Chambers. Q ADJOURNED COUNCIL MEETING MAY 26, 1981 In accordance with notice duly and legally given, an Adjourned Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of Colton was held on the above given date at 5:30 p. m., in the Council Chambers of City Hall, Mayor Gonzales presiding. 17iIItefim Council Members present were Hayes, Cisneros, Garcia, and Mayor Gonzales. Also present were City Manager Trevino, City Attorney Edwards, and City Clerk Ramos. Absent was Councilman Rehrer who was on vacation. Assessments Assessment District No. 79-1 City Manager Trevino advised that all of the necessary material and legal documents have not as yet been received with regard to Assessment District No. 79-1 and there- fore Staff cannot proceed this evening. Mr. Trevino said the developers will ad- vise when everything is ready to go on this project, and this matter will be brought back to the City Council for consideration and approval. Library Mr. Trevino reported as the City Council is aware, Staff has been working very dili- gently on the proposed new Library for the City. Mr. Trevino said that Requests for Proposals have been prepared and will be submitted, inviting contractors to submit their proposals for constructing a library for the City. Mr. Trevino stated that he and John Brown, of Best, Best & Krieger, have been work- ing on a contractual arrangement, or agreement, and Staff is now requesting authori- zation to prepare an Agreement to be brought back to the City Council at the earli- est possible date, with a complete package of building and funding. Moved by Councilwoman Garcia, seconded by Councilman Hayes, approving and authorizing Staff to prepare Agreement and necessary data for proposed new Library for the City, to be presented to the City Council for final consideration and approval. Vote was unanimous. PUBLIC HEARINGS: Personnel Mayor Gonzales declared the Public Hearing open. Personnel Officer Trevino stated that the Notice of Posting had been duly posted, and that no protests or objections had been received. MAY 2 6 1981
