REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY FOR THE DUPLICATE CITY OF COLTON INTEROFFICE MEMORANDUM ORIGINAL TO: Honorable Chairperson and Agency Boardmembers FROM: Greg Lantz, Program Manager SUBJECT: Possible Conflict of Interest Issues for the City of Colton Redevelopment Agency Council Meeting of December 18, 2001 DATE: December 13, 2001 BACKGROUND: In addition to other provisions of law that prohibit Agency Boardmembers from having financial interest in City contracts, the Agency Council has adopted Ordinance No. 0-16-01, which requires Agency Boardmembers to disclose, during open session, any gifts aggregating $50.00 or more that he or she has received or been promised from a party or participant in any proceeding before the Agency Council involving a license, permit, contract or other entitlement. Such disclosure must be made either orally or in writing and must be made part of the official public record of the proceeding either as part of the minutes or as a separate writing filed with the City.
