CITY OF COLTON <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL/REDIEVELOPMENT AGENCY/COLTON UTILITY AUTHORITY <br />MEETING MINUTES <br />JANUARY 18,2005 <br />Regular Meeting held on the above -given date at 6:05 p.m., in the Council Chambers of City <br />Hall, with Mayor Bennett presiding. <br />FLAG SALUTE: <br />Mayor Bennett led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />INVOCATION: <br />Councilmember Hernandez led the invocation. <br />ROLL CALL: <br />Members Present: <br />Staff Present: <br />Mayor Deirdre H. Chastain <br />Richard De La Rosa <br />Ramon Hernandez <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL ITEMS <br />POSSIBLE CONFLICT OF INTEREST DISCLOSURES FOR THE COUNCIL MEETING OF <br />JANUARY 18, 2005. <br />Mayor Bennett asked the members present if there were any agenda items that were a conflict <br />of interest pursuant to CMC Section 2.04.030. None disclosed. <br />CEREMONIAL MATTERS: <br />Presentations, Awards, Proclamations <br />Presentation Candace Cassel, RDA Manager, provided a brief overview on the new <br />Business Spotlight Made in Colton Program to bring awareness to <br />products manufactured in Colton who also contribute to the economic <br />base of the community. Judy Clarke, RDA Project Manager 11, introduced <br />the first business that would be recognized, Carmen, Beatrice and Celia <br />Cervantes, owners of La Carreta a corn and flour tortilla factory.
