CITY OF COLTON CLOSED SESSION - COUNCIUREDEVELOPMENT AGENCY/COLTON UTILITY AUTHORITY NOVEMBER 21, 2006 Closed Session Meeting was held on the above given date at 5:00 p.m., in the Council Chambers of City Hall, with Mayor Bennett presiding. I CITY COUNCIL ROLL CALL Councilmembers present were, Hernandez, Chastain, Mitchell, Ramos and Mayor Bennett. Councilmembers De La Rosa and Suchil absent. City Attorney Derleth announced that the City Council would meet in Closed Session to discuss item A. CLOSED SESSION: A. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL - EXISTING LITIGATION Pursuant to Government Code section 54956.9(a) Name of Case: City of Colton v. American Promotional Events, Inc. - West, et al. Case Number: US District Court Case No. CV 05-01479 DDP(Ex) B. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL — EXISTING LITIGATION Pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(a) Name of Case: Timothy Norman Franklin v. City of Colton, et al. Case Number: US District Court Case No. ED CV 05-00824 (VAP)(SGL) Mayor Bennett adjourned the meeting to Closed Session at 5:05 p.m. and at 6:02 p.m.; the meeting reconvened with all members present as heretofore. City Attorney Derleth reported that the Council did meet and did confer in Closed Session on the items previously announced with reportable action on Item A and no reportable action on Item B. A.
