That the City Council does hereby declare its intention <br />to order the abandonment of the West half of that certain portion of Ilth Street <br />shown 80 feet wide on a plat of the Town of Colton, Recorded in Book 9 of Maps <br />Page 37, Records of San Bernardino Countyl, between the South line of 'IFI' <br />Street and the North line of 11G11 Street as shown on said plat excepting there- <br />from an East-West alley 201 wide. <br />For further particulars as to the proposed abandonment, reference <br />is hereby made to the map on file in the office of the City Clerk of Colton'. <br />California. <br />SECTION 2. That the hour of 7:30 P. M. on the 20th day of March,, <br />1962 in the Council Chambers in the City Hall, Colton, California, be and the <br />same is hereby fixed as the time and place when and where all persons <br />interested in or objecting to the proposed abandonment may appear before the <br />City Council and offer evidence in relation thereto. <br />SECTION 3. That, William S. Barrett, City Engineer of the City <br />of Colton, is hereby directed to cause "Notice of Street Vacation" to be posted <br />as required by the Street Vacation Act of 1941. <br />SECTION 4. Nothing in this Ordinance shall in any way effect or <br />disturb any and all easements for public utilities of the City of Colton now <br />located on or which in the future in accordance with standard installation <br />practices be reasonably necessary to locate, on, over, or across a portion of <br />
