11 <br />A <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />29 <br />30 <br />31 <br />32 <br />ORDINANCE NO, 1128 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON DECLARING THE INTENTION <br />OF THE CITY COUNCIL TO ORDER THE <br />ABANDONMENT OF THAT PORTION OF "D" <br />STREET SHOWN ON A PLAT OF THE COLTON <br />ADDITION RECORDED IN BOOK 6 OF NAPS,, <br />PAGE 10, RECORDS OF SAID COUNTY. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Colton does hereby de- <br />clare its intention to order the abandonment of that portion of "D" Street shown <br />on a plat of the Colton Addition recorded in Book 6 of Maps, Page 10, Records <br />of said County and more particularly described as that portion located between <br />the Westerly right of way line of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad <br />Company 100 foot right of way and a line parallel with and 300 feet Easterly at <br />right angle from the center line of Fifth Street. <br />For further particulars as to the proposed abandonment reference is <br />hereby made to the map on file in the office of the City Clerk of Colton, <br />California. <br />Section 2. That the hour of 7:30 p.m. on the 17th day of July, 1962 in <br />the Council Chambers in the City Hall, Colton, California, be and the same is <br />hereby fixed as the time and place when and where all persons interested in or <br />objecting to the proposed abandonment may appear before the City Council and <br />offer evidence in relation thereto. <br />Section 3.V That, William S. Barrett, City Engineer of the City of <br />Colton, is hereby directed to cause "Notice of Street Vacation" to be posted as <br />required by the Street Vacation Act of 1941. <br />i <br />Section 4. Nothing in this Ordinance shall in any way effect or disturb <br />I any and all easements for public utilities of the City of Colton now located on or <br />which in the future in accordance with standard installation practices be reason- j <br />ably necessary to locate, on, over, or across a portion of the premises mentionei <br />herein before and all said present easements shall remain in full force and effect; <br />Iincluding right of ingress and egress to maintain, reconstruct and service said <br />utilities . <br />
