That the City Council does hereby declare its intention <br />to order the abandonment of that portion of "L'1 Street lyr ng within Block 154, <br />Town of Colton, in the City of Colton, County of San Bernardino, State of <br />California as per plat recorded in Book 9 of Maps, page 37, Records of said <br />County, described as follows: <br />Beginning at the southwesterly corner of Lot 1, <br />Tract No. 2433, as per plat thereof recorded in <br />Book 35 of Maps,, page 14, records of said County, <br />thence South 80° 20t East, 125 feet to the South- <br />easterl� corner of Lot 21, said Dlock 154; thence <br />South 9 401 West, 40. 0 feet to the center line of <br />said 111,1 Street,, thence North 800 201 West125. 0 <br />o <br />feet along said center line; thence North 9 401 <br />East, 40, 0 feet to the point of beginning. <br />For further particulars as to the proposed abandonment reference is <br />ihereby made to the map on file in the office of the City Clerk of Colton, <br />California. <br />SECTION 2, That the hour of 7:30 p. rn. on the 7th day of May, 1963 in <br />the Council Chambers in the City Hall, Colton, California, be and the same is <br />hereby fixed as the time and place when and where all persons interested in or <br />objecting to the proposed abandonment, may appear befom the City Council and <br />offer evidence in relation thereto, <br />SECTION 3. That C. Glenn Wilson, Director of Public Works of the <br />City of Colton is hereby directed to cause "Notice of Street Vacation1C to be <br />posted as required by the Street Vacation Act of 1941. <br />SECTION 4. Nothing in this Ordinance shall in any way effect or disturb <br />any and all easements for public utilities of the City of Colton now located on or <br />
