1! <br />i <br />21 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5, <br />61 <br />7 <br />8I <br />9 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />29 <br />MA <br />31 <br />32 <br />ORDINANCE NO* 1187 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO* 689 <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />That Paragraph two of Ordinance No. 689 is hereby amended to read <br />as follows <br />It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to keep <br />within the City of Colton any pig, hog, sheep, bull, stallion, mare, cow, <br />burro, jack, jenny, mule, goat, kid, horse, or similar animal within three <br />hundred feet from any dwelling house at any time provided, however, save <br />and excepting stallions, bulls, male goats, hogs, pigs, sheep, or other similar <br />type animals, the Sanitary Inspector of the City of Colton or such other <br />qualified person as the City Council may designate may issue a written permit <br />valid for a period not to exceed one year, authorizing not to exceed Two of any <br />such animals to be kept at a distance less than three hundred feet from any <br />dwelling house, providing same shall not be considered unsanitary or create <br />a nuisance and provided further, in no event, shall any such animal at any <br />time be permitted to be kept closer than one hundred feet from any dwelling <br />house excepting that in the area of the City east of Sceni6 Drive or Sperry <br />Drive, south of Congress and west of Grand, additional animals or larger <br />quantities of animals may be authorized by the Sanitary �n.spector by a written <br />permit issued by him, subject to approval of the City Council, valid for a <br />period not exceeding one year, and such permission may vary the require - <br />11 ments listed above as to the distance between such animals and dwellings„ <br />The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this Ordinance and shall <br />cause the same to be published once in the Colton Courier, a newspaper of <br />general circulation and hereby designated for that purpose, <br />PASSED,, ADOPTED AND APPROVED THIS 3rd day of March, 1964, <br />ATTEST: <br />itqC Jerk <br />r <br />Mayor <br />
