3 <br />1 ORDINANCE NO. 1299 <br />2 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />3 OF COLTON AMENDING SECTION VI OF ORDINANCE <br />NO. 675, AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE USE OF <br />4 THE SEWAGE AND DRAINAGE SYSTEM OF THE CITY <br />OF COLTON. <br />5 <br />6 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES ORDAIN: <br />7 SECTION 1. Section VI <br />8 Not withstanding anything to the contrary contained here - <br />9 in, the City Council does hereby reserve the right to issue special <br />10 written permits, upon certain terms and conditions, to discharge in - <br />11 <br />dustrial wastes, liquids, or other materials into the sewage or <br />12 <br />13 drainage system as the case maybe, should the said City Council in <br />14 any particular case determine it to be necessary to preserve public <br />15 health, safety or property. Without limitation upon the foregoing, <br />16 such terms and conditions may include a fee considered commensurate <br />17 with the extra cost or burden to the sewage or drainage system occa- <br />18 sioned by use therof by such person, firm or corporation. <br />19 <br />20 The terms and conditions and fee, if any, shall be fixed <br />21 by Resolution of the City Council upon 10 days written notice to the <br />22 ermitee of the proposed terms, conditions and fee, if any, in order <br />23 that he may appear before the City Council and present evidence on <br />24 his behalf concerning the proposed fee, should he so desire. <br />25 SECTION 2. Certification <br />26 The City Clerk shall certify to the <br />passage of this <br />27 <br />28 ordinance and shall cause the same to be published once in the <br />29 Colton Courier, a newspaper of general circulation within the City <br />-F t--1 +-,.r <br />
