That all assessments hereinafter made <br />in the City of Colton for taxes for municipal purposes shall be <br />made by the County Assessor of the County of San Bernardino, <br />State of California. <br />SECTION TWO. This ordinance is for the immediate <br />preservation of the public peace, health and safety and shall <br />take effect immediately upon its adoption and publication. <br />The facts constituting the urgency thereof are as <br />follows: <br />This ordinance is adopted pursuant to the general <br />laws of the State of California for levying municipal taxes to <br />provide for the maintenance of the various governmental functions <br />which preserve the public health and safety in the City of <br />Colton. <br />SECTION THREE.
