111 2( 3I 4 5 6 7 8 '9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18' 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 -27 28 29 30 31 32 ORDINANCE NO. 1354 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF COLTON ADOPTING THE "UNIFORM BUILDING CODE", 1967 EDITION, VOLUMES I AND III, TOGETHER WITH THE APPENDICES THERETO APPERTAINING. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the "Uniform Building Code, 1967 Edition, Volume I and Volume III Housing, and Appendices thereto, published and copy- righted by the International Conference of Building Officials," three copies of which in book form are now on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Colton for public use and certified by the certificate of the City Clerk of the City of Colton attached thereto, reading as follows: "I, Elizabeth Davis, City Clerk of the City of Colton do hereby certify that the Annexed Uniform Building Code of the 1967 Edition, Volume I and Volume III Housing is the Uniform Building Code referred to in Ordinance No. 1354__ of the City of Colton," except as to the amendments hereinafter set forth, be and the same is hereby adopted as the Building Code of the City of Colton, for regulating the erection, construction, alteration, repair, moving, removal, demolition, conversion, occupancy, equipment, use, height, area and/or maintenance and other matters contained in said code of all buildings and structures of any type whatsoever and each of the provisions in reference to issuance of permits, collection of fees, establishing fire zones and each and every provision, regulation, penalty, condition and term of said building code hereinbefore referred to and adopted and made a part hereof as if fully set forth herein. SECTION 2. That Section 301a of the "Uniform Building Code, 1967 Edition, Volume I," shall be amended to read as follows: Section 301 (a) Permits Required. No person, firm or corpor- ation shall erect, construct, enlarge, alter, repair, move, improve, remove, convert, or demolish any building or structure in the City or cause the same to be done, without first obtaining a separate building permit for each such building or structure from the Building Official:
