ORDINANCE N0, 1358 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF COLTON, <br />CALIFORNIA, ORDERING, CALLING, <br />PROVIDING FOR AND GIVING NOTICE <br />OF A SPECIAL ELECTION TO BE HELD <br />IN SAID CITY ON JANUARY 275 1970, <br />FOR THE PURPOSE OF SUBMITTING TO <br />THE QUALIFIED VOTERS OF SAID CITY <br />A PROPOSITION TO INCUR BONDED <br />INDEBTEDNESS BY SAID CITY FOR A <br />CERTAIN MUNICIPAL IMPROVEMENT. <br />At a meeting held November 181 1969, the City <br />Council, by no less than a two-thirds vote of members <br />thereof, adopted a resolution determining that the public <br />interest and necessity demand the acquisition and <br />construction of a certain municipal improvement. <br />The City Council of the City of Colton, <br />California, DOES ORDAIN now as follows: <br />Section 1. A special election is called to be <br />held in said City on January 27, 1970, for the purpose of <br />submitting to the qualified voters of said City the <br />proposition of incurring bonded indebtedness in the <br />principal amount and for the purpose stated in the ballot <br />proposition set forth in Section 5 below. <br />Section 2. The estimated cost of the municipal <br />improvement described in the ballot proposition is the <br />sum of $1,220,000, including legal and other fees, costs, <br />and expenses incidental to or connected with the <br />authorization, printing, issuance and sale of the bonds. <br />
