RESOLUTION NO. 1271 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON A'DO'-PTING BUDGET AND A??ROVTNG MEMORANDUM <br />OF AGREEMENT FOR EX-PENDITURE OF 1/4 CENT GAZ TAX <br />ALLOCATED FOR STREETS OF MAJOR IMPORTANCE. <br />2 WIDT.REAS, a memorandum of agreement has been presented <br />3 to be entered into with the State of California in accordance <br />4 with a project statement for expenditure of the 1/4 cent gas tax <br />5 for the fiscal year 1947 allocated for streets of major importantE <br />4 <br />6 other than State Highways in the City of Colton; and <br />7 the Cl.ty Council has heard read said agreement <br />8 in full and is familiar with the contents thereof; <br />9 THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City <br />10 of Colton that said project statement be and it is hereby adopted <br />11 as the budget of proposed expenditures of the 1/4 cent gas tax <br />ca) <br />12 allocated for streets of major importance other than State H-1­hwas,, <br />13 and said agreement be and the same is hereby approved and the <br />14 Mayor and the City Clerk are directed to sign the same on behalf <br />15 of said C-_'ity, said agreement to be binding i_ipon the City upon its <br />16 execution by the authorized officials of the State. <br />17 ADOI&TED., '�.IkSSED AND A -'* "ROVED this 19th day of August,. 194 . <br />18 <br />A.
