WHEREAS, a resolution was adopted by the City Council of the City of Colton, California on the 5th day of February, 1985, declaring weeds growing upon streets or sidewalks or upon private property and rubbish, refuse or dirt upon parkways, sidewalks or private property within the City of Colton to be a Public Nuisance and providing for the abatement therefore; and WHEREAS, the City Clerk was directed to cause to be mailed to the owners of the property on which or in front of which such nuisance exists in accordance with the Weed Abatement Law (Chapter 13, Title 4, Division 3, Government Code and amendments thereto) of the State of California; and WHEREAS, said notices have been mailed in accordance with said act as set forth in the affidavit of the City Clerk on file in her office; and WHEREAS, said Resolution and notices fixed, determined and de- clared that a hearing would be hald on the 2nd day of April, 1985, in the Council Chambers in the Civic Center, Colton, California at the hour of 7:30 p. m. of said day, at which time any person having any objections or pro- tests to make concerning the removal and destruction of said weeds, rubbish, refuse or dirt may appear and be heard; and WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed in such notice a hearing was duly held by this City Council and all persons desiring to be heard thereon were heard and the City Council gave all persons present an opportunity to be heard. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Colton as follows: The City Council does hereby find, determine and declare that notices for the destruction of said weeds and the removal of rubbish, refuse or dirt have been mailed in the form and manner prescribed by the aforesaid
