1 <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 4576 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF COLTON FINDING THAT OVERCROWDED CONDITIONS <br />EXIST IN THE RIALTO UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT. <br />WHEREAS, a portion of. the City of Colton is situated in <br />the Rialto Unified School District and the governing body of said <br />school district, on July 25, 1984, made findings that conditions <br />of overcrowding exist in the district and that reasonable methods <br />of mitigation of overcrowding have been evaluated and no feasible <br />method for reducing such conditions exist, and the governing body <br />of such district, on August 20, 1984, did notify the City Council <br />of the City of Colton of such findings; and <br />WHEREAS, City Council did employ D. G. King as consultant <br />in said matter, and Mr. King made his report to the City Council. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Pursuant to Government Code Section 65971, the City Council <br />concurs in such findings made by the governing board of said school <br />district referred to above. This finding is made so that the pro- <br />visions of Government Code Section 65972 shall be applicable to <br />actions taken on residential development in the City of Colton. <br />This Resolution is adopted pursuant to the provisions of <br />Chapter 4.7 (commencing with S. 65970) of Division 1 of Title 7 of <br />the Government Code. <br />PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 2nd day of April, 1985. <br />T S3ERr A.
