R-10-04 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING A STREET NAME <br />CHANGE FOR DRIVERS WORLD PARKWAY TO ASHLEY <br />WAY <br />WHEREAS, California Streets & Highways Code, Section 5026 authorizes the <br />legislative body of a city to change the name of any street, boulevard, park or place by <br />adopting a resolution evidencing such name change; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton ("City Council") wishes to <br />rename Drivers World Parkway, whose location is shown on the attached Exhibit "A," as <br />"Ashley Way" to better reflect the conditions in that area of the City of Colton ; and <br />BE IT NOW THEREFORE RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. Renaming of Drivers World Parkway. The City Council hereby <br />renames existing "Drivers World Parkway" as shown on the attached Exhibit A as "Ashley <br />Way. <br />SECTION 2. City Clerk to Forward Copies. The City Clerk shall forward a <br />copy of this resolution to the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors of San Bernardino County and <br />to the San Bernardino County Surveyor. <br />SECTION 3. Mayor's Signature. The Mayor shall sign this Resolution and the <br />City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption thereof. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of February, 2004. <br />Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />CAROLINA P.
