R-09-06 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA, <br />AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR THE FIRE DEPARTMENT, FISCAL YEARS <br />COMMENCING JULY 1, 2005 AND ENDING JUNE 30, 2006. <br />WHEREAS: The Budget for the City of Colton for the Fiscal Years commencing July 1, 2005 <br />and ending June 30, 2005 was approved and adopted on June 21, 2005; and <br />WHEREAS: The approved budget is in accordance with all applicable ordinances of the City <br />and all applicable statutes of the State; and <br />WHEREAS: The Reallocation of appropriations between departmental activities may be made <br />by the City Manager, Amendments to the Budget shall be by approval and Resolution of the City <br />Council. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES HEREBY <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. It has been necessary to make an amendment to the 2005/06 Fiscal Year <br />Budget, adjusting the Salary and Benefits accounts in the Fire Department. These changes <br />are needed to cover the cost of salary and benefit increases negotiated by the Firefighters <br />Local 935 bargaining unit. The total cost to implement the above mentioned changes for the <br />City, in fiscal year beginning July 1, 2005 is $260,325 in the following accounts: 100-6090- <br />6091-1010: $127,000, 100-6090-6091-1060: $40,500, 100-6090-6091-1050: $5,000, 100- <br />6090-6092-1010: $4,000, 100-6090-6092-1100: $1,800. <br />PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 17th day of January 2006. <br />ATTEST: <br />CAROLINA P.
