KEANE, City Manager <br />SUBJECT: Award of Bid for Various Transformers to Date: June 27., 1989 <br />Pauwels Transformers in the Amount of $28,911.50 <br />and WESCO Utility in the Amount of $6,705.56 <br />On June -1, 1989,.we advertised for quotations for various size trans <br />formers.. for- the Electric Department. Bid opening was held at 3.00 p.m., <br />June 19,`1989, in the General Services office. A Bid Analvsis is at- <br />tached showing the Load Loss Evaluated Cost, which is how we determine <br />the successful bidder on transformers. The evaluated cost of the <br />vendors to whom we are recommending bid award is underlined on the Bid <br />Analysis. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends that bid award be made to Pauwels <br />Transformers in the amount of $28,199.50 and to WESCO Utility in the <br />amount of $6,705.56. <br />Report Prepared by: M.
