CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />For Council Meeting of August 7, 1990 <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />FROM: Edmund Sotelo, City Manager._ <br />SUBJECT: MUTUAL AID AGREEMENT - Date: July 23, 1990 <br />NORTON AIR FORCE BASE <br />BACKGROUND <br />The Fire Department and NORTON AIR FORCE BASE has a Mutual Aid <br />Agreement for fire protection. This is an on-going agreement <br />that is renewable every two years. <br />STATEMENT OF PROBLEM <br />This agreement is due for renewal. Attached is an updated Mutual <br />Aid Agreement- <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />greement_ <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />None. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT <br />Unknown. If an.emergency developes the City of Colton will <br />respond to Norton Air Force Base. Also, in turn, the Fire <br />Department at Norton Air Force Base will respond to emergencies <br />within the City of Colton. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL I�4W.ACT <br />None. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />It is the recommendation of staff, the Fire Chief would sign this <br />document for the City of Colton. <br />nis <br />Attachments: <br />Page 1 of Item No. -� <br />
