Keane, City Manager A-0 <br />SUBJECT: Award of Bid for Municipal Park Fence Date: February 13, 199C <br />to Alcorn Fence Company in the Amount <br />of $59,816.00. <br />On February 1 and 8, 1990, we advertised for quotations on fencing <br />for the ballfield at Municipal Park. A Pre-bid Conference was <br />held at 10:00 A.M., February 9, 1990. The bid opening was held <br />at 2:00 P.M., February 13, 1990 in the City Council Chambers. <br />Two bids were received which are shown on the attached Bid <br />Analysis. The recommended bidders price is underlined. The <br />estimated time of completion is 30 days following Notice to <br />Proceed. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends that bid award be made to Alcorn <br />Fence Co. in the amount of $59,816.00. <br />Report prepared by Kenneth L.
