CITY OF COLTON j <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />For Council Meeting ofJuly 17, 1990 <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />FROM: Gale A. Drews, Electric Utility Director <br />SUBJECT: ELECTRIC UTILITY EASEMENT ON TRACT NO 13529 Date: July 9, 1990 <br />BACKGROUND <br />The City of Colton has existing overhead secondary line and poles on <br />west property line of tract no. 13529 on Shasta Drive. This line <br />provides services to 7 homes on the west side of the property. <br />STATEMENT OF PROBLEM <br />The developer has a plan to build houses which will restrict the <br />City from having access to these poles and overhead lines. <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />Attached Grant -Deed will give the City necessary easement to enable <br />us to have access to these poles. The easement will also enable us <br />to put part of this overhead line to undergound. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT <br />None. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br />None. <br />RECOMMENDATIONS <br />Staff recommends that Council accept the dedication of easement on <br />Parcel 1 and 2. <br />City Manager's Concurrence: <br />Attachments: (Copy of Grant Deed is on file in the City Clerk's office <br />for review.) <br />Page 1 ofd_ Item No.. l% <br />ORIGINAL <br />FILE NO. ._70K _�---------------- v <br />
