CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />For Council Meeting of June 5. 1990 -- <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />FROM: Susan Brigham, Childcare Coordinator <br />SUBJECT: Resolution Authorizing Agreement for Date: May 30, 1990 <br />Childcare Services for Fiscal Year 1990-91 <br />In January, 1988 the Human Services Department entered into an <br />agreement with the State Department of Education to provide latchkey <br />child development services to the community. These contracts <br />are on-going, but are renewable each fiscal year. <br />In 1990-91 the latchkey center -based program contract will offer <br />$108,936 to the City and will provide subsidized fees for seventy- <br />five families. The alternative payment program contract will <br />provide $106,758 and will serve seventy families. <br />Recommendation: Staff recommends that Council adopt the Resolution <br />to enter into agreement with the Department of Education for child <br />development contracts CD7030 and CD7539. <br />CITY MANAGER'S CONCURRENCE: <br />Report prepared by: <br />Attachments: <br />S.
