SOTELO, City Managerj;;�e <br />SUBJECT: Award of Bid to San Diego Rotary Broom Co, Date: June 11, 1990 <br />Inc. for Sweeper Brooms and Miscellaneous Parts for <br />the Period July IF 1990 thrniiah Tune ., 1991 <br />BACKGROUND <br />The City solicits competitive bids to cover annual requirements for Street <br />Sweeper Brooms and Miscellaneous Replacement Parts on and as required <br />basis. <br />One May 14, 1990, General Services advertised for sealed bids for this <br />requirement. One Bid was received from San Diego Rotary Broom, Inc. <br />STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM <br />None <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />None <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT <br />A Bid Analysis is attached showing prices quoted on the most commonly <br />used brooms. The quantities listed are only estimates based on previous <br />annual usage. It is difficult to estimate a parts usage, so the bid is <br />based on Manufacturers List Price. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br />None <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends bid award for these requirements to San Diego Rotary <br />Broom Co., Inc. for the period July 1, 1990 through June 30, 1991. <br />Report Prepared by: Mary J.
