Acevedo, Finance Director <br />SUBJECT: Award of Bid for a Paramedic Vehicle to Date: November 21, 1991 <br />Mills Ford in the Amount of $20,834.97. <br />BACKGROUND: Staff was directed to solicit bids on a Paramedic <br />Vehicle to be assigned to Fire Station Number 3. Advertising for <br />the vehicle took place on October 28, 1991. <br />DISCUSSION: Bid opening was held at 2:30 P.M., November 12, 1991 <br />in the General Services office. Six bids were received and <br />evaluated. A Bid Analysis is attached showing the prices and the <br />delivery time. The recommended vendor's quotation is underlined. <br />There is a $300.00 financing charge which will be added to the <br />quoted price for a total price of $20,834.97. This amount will <br />be paid over five years by a lease purchase agreement with Ford <br />Motor Credit Co. The annual payments will be $4,831.71.
