Aguilera, Director of Community Developmenik—' G <br />SUBJECT: Approval of Annexation of Peppertree Lane <br />(LAFCO 2681) <br />BACKGROUND: <br />E <br />The Local Agency Formation Commission, at their meeting of October 30, 1991, approved <br />the annexation of Peppertree Lane, an area encompassing 0.23 acres in Reche Canyon, N <br />to the City of Colton. In accordance with the Cortese Knox Local Reorganization Act, the <br />City is now required to conduct further proceedings to complete the annexation. <br />D <br />FINANCIAL/ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACTS: <br />Financial and environmental impact information was provided earlier in the annexation <br />process. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Attached to this report is a resolution to be approved by the City Council, describing the <br />annexation and its boundaries and outlining conditions from LAFCO, the use of assess- R <br />ment rolls and the assumption of contractual or bonded indebtedness obligations of the <br />City. Staff recommends the adoption of the attached resolution to complete the annexation <br />of Peppertree Lane.
