Date: June 25, 1991 <br />Electrical Material to General Electric Supply Co. and <br />Graybar Electric for the Period 7/1/91 through 6/30/92 <br />BACKGROUND <br />On June 13, 1991, General Services advertised for sealed bids for <br />annual contracts on miscellaneous electrical material requirements <br />as generated by various City departments. <br />Bid opening was held at 10:00 a.m., June 25, 1991, in the General <br />Services office. Five bids were received and evaluated. <br />It should be noted that both recommended vendors have local outlets <br />for these materials, and the majority of items purchased will be on <br />a "will call" basis. <br />STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM <br />None <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />None <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT <br />A Bid Analysis is attached which reflects a percentage off Trade <br />Service Book, end column pricing, which is a standard pricing practice <br />used in this industry. The analysis further reflects delivery and <br />discount terms.
