Hutton, Director of Public Works <br />Date: June 25, 1991 <br />SUBJECT: Approval of Recommendation from Traffic Committee <br />for Appropriation of Funds in the Amount of $25,000 <br />to Pay for Traffic Engineer Fees for FY90-91 <br />RAC'KC,RC)l IND.- <br />At <br />ND: <br />At the June 19, 1991 Traffic Committee meeting the Traffic Committee recommended <br />the appropriation of traffic fee funds to pay for services rendered by the City's <br />consulting Traffic Engineer in the amount of $25,000 for FY90-91. <br />STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM: <br />The recorrrnendation made by the Traffic Committee was for FY90-91 and for future <br />fiscal years. The Traffic Engineer provides service to all Departments for various <br />areas of the City. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />Traffic fees are paid by anyone developing or remodeling within the City to ease <br />traffic impact on City streets. These funds may be used to pay for a consulting <br />traffic engineer. <br />ENV I RONVIENTAL IMPACT: <br />None <br />RECON 0ENDATION: <br />Staff recommends that Council approve the appropriation of $25,000 from the Capital <br />Improvement Traffic Reserve fund to the City's General Fund for services rendered <br />by the City's consulting Traffic Engineer. <br />CITY MANAGER'S CONCURRENCE: <br />Attachments: 1 <br />Page 1 of---- Item No.-5-— <br />EILEQ :. ---------------9L <br />
