Hutton, Director of Public Works <br />SUBJECT: Approval of Annexation No. 39 into Date: July 8, 1991 <br />the City's Landscape Maintenance District <br />I�er�71e=i7f�G� <br />The Council approved the formation of a Landscape Maintenance District, which <br />properties within Benefit Zones may be annexed into the District. <br />STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM: <br />Attached is the "Consent and Waiver to Annexation" from the owner of property within <br />a Landscape Maintenance District Benefit Zone. The property owner is requesting <br />annexation into the City's Landscape Maintenance District. Under the provisions <br />of the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972, a single property owner can request <br />annexation into a Landscape District, waiving any public hearings. <br />ALTERNATIVES: <br />None <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />Areas within the District are maintained with fees collected by the County Tax <br />Collector. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT: <br />None <br />REC VWNDAT I ON : <br />Staff recon -mends that Council approve Annexation No. 39 into the City's Landscape <br />Maintenance District. <br />/lj <br />CITY MANAGER'S CONCURRENCE: <br />Attachments: <br />Page 1 of_ _ Item No.- <br />171LE NO. <br />
