Hutton, Director of Public Work <br />SUBJECT: Acceptance of Well #22 Dearation Tank roject <br />Date: March 4, 1991 <br />(San Luis Tank) as 100% Complete and Authorize the <br />Filing of the Notice of Completion <br />BACKGROUND: <br />As the Council is aware, Well #22 experience severe air problems which effected the <br />Cooley Ranch area. Council authorized emergency repairs with the installation of <br />an dearation tank. Council awarded the contract to San Luis Tank on August 21, 1990. <br />STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM: <br />San Luis Tank has now completed the work and are requesting acceptance of the project <br />as 100% complete. The Water Utilities Manager has overseen the project and concurs <br />that all work has been completed to City standards. <br />ALTERNATIVES: <br />None <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />None <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT: <br />With the completion of the dearation tank, there will be no more air problems in <br />the water in Cooley Ranch. <br />RECCMyIENDATION: <br />Staff recommends that Council accept the dearation tank project at Well #22 as 100% <br />complete and authorize the Director of Public Works to file the notice of completion. <br />/lj <br />CITY MANAGER'S CONCURRENC <br />Attachments: 1 <br />Page t of .. m g� a;�k�, Item No. 5 <br />
