Sotelo, City Manager <br />SUBJECT: Date ;March 4, 1991 <br />Resolution to Authorize TDA Article 8a Transportation Fund - <br />Street and Roads Claim <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Per TDA Article 8a (PUC 99400x) and per SB - 325, the City of Colton allocation share of the <br />Local Transportation Fund has been determined to be $234,522.00. <br />STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM. <br />To receive these funds for utilization on Colton's street and roads, the City Council needs to <br />adopt the attached Resolution and direct Staff to submit the attached TDA Article 8a claim form <br />and adopted Resolution to Sanbag for processing with SCAG. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT.• <br />Adoption of the Resolution and submittal of the claim to Sanbag will begin the process for the <br />City to receive the $234,522.00 for street and road purposes. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT.• <br />None <br />RECOMMENDATION. - <br />Staff recommends that the City Council adopt the attached Resolution and direct Staff to proceed <br />with the claim process and utilize these funds for the City of Colton Road and Street system. <br />Report prepared by David Taylor, Project Administrator <br />Attachments <br />Attachments: <br />Page 1 of <br /># _ i:'J- ECO [3S <br />iise.n._i.�.Ll�a�..................... <br />Item No. 7 <br />
