CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />For Council Meeting of March 19, 1991 <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />FROM: John C. Hutton, Director of Public Works��e <br />SUBJECT: Acceptance of Grant Deed for FAU Barton Rd., Date: March 14, 1991 <br />Reche Canyon Rd., Hunts Ln, project, Right -of -Way <br />Dedication <br />BACKGROUND: <br />In order to provide the minimum roadway with for the required number of lanes on <br />Reche Canyon Rd., an additional 9' of right-of-way was acquired by the City of <br />Colton from the San Bernardino County Flood Control District. <br />STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM: <br />Reche Canyon Rd. is currently two lanes (one in each direction). In order to provide <br />for the design capacity of additional lanes, additional right-of-way to widen the <br />roadway was needed. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />None <br />ENVIFCNvENTAL IMPACT: <br />Upon completion, the additional width will provide for additional traffic capacity <br />and reduced traffic congestion. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recomnends that Council accept the additional right-of-way for Reche Canyon Rd. <br />CITY MANAGER'S CQONCURR <br />Attachments: 1 <br />L--- <br />Page 1 of — CENT_ MAL RECORDS Item No. <br />FILE NO. .202Y.J....................LIAR <br />
